The Middle-aged Face
Patients in the 40s-50s usually develop more skin sagging and wrinkles (fine or deep) along with more pigment problems. These are due to the natural aging process as well as years of exposure to the tropical sun.
We would combine radiofrequency, IPL treatments for non-surgical face lift and removal of pigment problems. For wrinkles we use botulinum toxin and filler injections. For difficult pigment problems, several types of lasers will be used. There are also more lumps and bumps on the face which we use CO 2 laser to remove.
A patient of mine was told that she has neglected her skin for too long and it’s too late to start now. She’s only 50. Now after several treatments, she’s a firm believer of the motto: “ It’s never too late to start. It’s never too late to look better.”
Maintaining your youthful look and slowing down the aging process would be our shared goal.
